“Out of the concert performances, the work Newborn by Ansgar Beste appealed to me the most. Beste has reflected on the beginning of human life and transferred this into a composition, in which a thematic opening is clearly marked, from where an exciting development is taking place.
The human evolution, this continuous process on our planet, is so fascinating, so significant, and to this Beste has dedicated an artistic creation in his own distinctive style – I find this magnificent! The piece Newborn makes a strong impression on me.”
